A digital platform for pilgrimage
We designed and developed a multilingual web platform for discovering and planning pilgrimages to Mount Athos. The website brings together information about monasteries, routes, pilgrimage formats, accommodation, transfers, and travel arrangements in one clear and accessible experience.
The platform was designed to make a complex pilgrimage journey easier to understand and navigate, helping visitors explore their options, learn about Mount Athos, and find the information they need before starting their journey.
A flexible system behind the experience
Alongside the public-facing website, we built a custom administrative interface that allows the team to manage content, pilgrimage programmes, destinations, and other information without relying on developers for everyday updates.
The result is a scalable digital foundation that connects the public experience with the operational side of the centre, making it easier to maintain the platform today and expand it with new content and services over time.
Built for a growing pilgrimage ecosystem
The platform brings together multiple parts of the pilgrimage experience — from discovering monasteries and planning routes to exploring available journeys and getting in touch with the team. Its structure makes complex information easy to explore while keeping the experience calm and focused.
